Film, Blown
Thin film that is produced by extruding a tube of molten plastic through a circular die, then inflating and stretching the plastic until the thin film is formed. This is the most common method of producing thin films such as trash bags, mulch film, cereal bags, and other packaging films. Blown films can contain 11 or more layers of plastic and can be over 12' in diameter.
